Cycle Of Assessment

Assessments are on-going and continuous that cover scholastic, personality, and co-curricular aspects. They are done in such a way that inter-learner comparisons and fear of external examinations are minimized.

 

Pre-Primary

Assessment are done based on one on one observation of oral, practical and worksheets. Written Assessment is done in 2 Terms [October and March]

Primary and Secondary

CBSE Assessment Structure effective from the academic year  2017-18 

  • Scholastic Area : 

Subjects:- Eng, Hin , Mara, Maths, EVS/Sci, Social Sci, ICT

TERM I (100 Marks)

a) Periodic test 10 marks with syllabus covered till the announcement of test dates.

b) NoteBook submission 5 marks at term end

c) Sub enrichment 5 marks at term end

d) Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus covered till announcement of Half Yearly exam dates by school

Term II(100 Marks)

a) Periodic test 10 marks with syllabus covered till the announcement of test dates.

b) NoteBook submission 5 marks at term end

c) Sub enrichment 5 marks at term end

d) Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus covered as under

Class VI: 10% of I term covering topics +entire syllabus of term 2

Class VII: 20% of Term I covering significant topics +entire syllabus for 2 term

Class VIII: 30%of I Term I covering significant topics +entire syllabus of term 2

  • Co-Scholastic Activities:- To promote co-scholastic activities for the holistic development of the student. These activities will be graded on a 3 point grading scale Grade: A=Outstanding   B=Very Good   C=Fair
