Pratap House
Maharana Pratap imparts his name to a house of the school. The most important ruler of the Rajput era, Maharana Pratap exemplified the qualities of chivalry and patriotism that the students of the House aspire to achieve. Pratap house aims to instill the Rajput’s invincible spirit in each member of the house.
Shivaji House
The house is named in honor of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a Maratha warrior known for his civil rule involving disciplined military and well-structured organizations. The students learn the qualities of efficiency and determination from this popular Maratha ruler. The house takes its name from a stalwart in modern history, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the face of the Indian freedom movement. His greatness lay in his willingness to live in austerity. He remains a symbol of peace and ‘ahimsa’ (non- violence). His teachings continue to inspire many, including our students, and instill a sense of patriotism and self-reliance in them.
Tagore House
Credited for reshaping Bengali music and literature, Rabindranath Tagore lends his name to this house. A Nobel laureate and a creative genius, he is responsible for the national album ‘Jana Gana Mana’. The house hopes to inculcate his literary prowess and works to build a generation of informed minds.
Tilak House
Bal Gangadhar Tilak was a radical freedom fighter whose endeavors were guided by his patriotism and his capacity to endure in the face of adversity. The house, that receives its name from this revolutionary, encourages its students to follow in his footsteps and continue to be motivated by a man whose name has gone down in the annals of history as a veteran of the Indian struggle for Independence.
